Ok, so today the Orange County Choppers Statue of Liberty Bike was on display at Cairns Airfield in Daleville, Alabama. The bike has been on tour so people can see a piece of the Statue of Liberty history in this half million dollar motorcycle. So the bike made a stop today for the less then hour display. A co-worker took some pictures and I thought that I would share them on my picasaweb account. If you would like to see the pictures, then take a look below.
Some of the artifacts from the statue itself were incorporated into the bike. Some of these artifacts include:
- the cable that lit the torch (which became the shifter)
- the entire bike was plated in copper from the actual statue itself
